Bichectomy (a.k.a Hollywood Cheek) is an aesthetic surgical procedure that removes the buccal fat, resulting in prominent cheekbones, a better-defined jaw, and an overall slimmer face. Patient achieves traditional golden ratio V shape face form after the surgery.

There are no visible scars on the face after bichectomy. Because all the incisions are made in the inner cheek. Keeping up the oral hygiene is the most important part of the recovery period. Patients will be provided with a special mouthwash to prevent infection.The patient should only consume liquid food for the first few days, and continue with the soft food (Soup and puree).  Food can not be hot. Wounds usually heal within two weeks, complete healing occurs in 3 three weeks. The patient should avoid alcohol and cigarette consumption after bichectomy procedure.
