RECOVERY AFTER NECK-LIFT SURGERY

The patient should follow skin and wound care instructions by the doctor. Keeping the elevated is very important to get the full results. Patient will need to wear a special garment that compresses the neck to prevent swelling.

Pain, swelling, and bruising are normal for the first 1 week. These pain level decreases daily. 

Similar to other facial procedures, patient must wear clothes that fasten in the front, and avoid the ones  that are pulled over the head. 

The patient should avoid make up and other cosmetics.

The patient can go back to daily life in 3 to 4 weeks. It may take several weeks to see the full results.

WHAT IS THE RIGHT AGE FOR NECK-LIFT?

Generally people in late 40’s to mid 50’s choose neck-lift. Neck-lift can be performed as young as early 20’s to late 60’s due to skin’s condition, jowl anatomy, and aging.
